Camelia Hammond
At sixteen years old, Camelia Hammond is the main protagonist and narrator of the novel "Deadly Little Secret." She is a normal, pretty girl and the daughter to a conservative father and a health-obsessed mother. She is a simple and unassuming girl whose best friends, Wes and Kimmie, are supportive and encouraging and very loyal. Camelia loves sculpting and modeling with clay, and works at a pottery place called "Knead." Three months before the book begins, Camelia's world is turned upside-down when she is saved from being hit by a car by a mysterious boy.
The following year at school. Camelia discovers the new boy at school called Ben Carter and that he is supposedly a murderer, having killed his last girlfriend. Camelia is nevertheless instantly attracted to Ben, seeking to befriend him. As she does so, a stalker begins leaving notes, messages, and gifts for Camelia...
