41 Summary
Camelia doesn't go check the mailbox, but considers calling her father instead. But outside, loud knocking comes from the door. It is Ben. He has paid for the pizza, and Camelia motions to the mailbox. Inside is a manila envelope that contains photos cut up into pieces. Assembled, the photos bear a message: "Time's almost up".
41 Analysis
Ben's arrival also coincides with the arrival of a photograph with a deadly message. Whereas Camelia's instinct may be to reach out to Ben, the reader is put off by the timing of the photograph's delivery and Ben's arrival.
