Chapters 21-Epilogue Summary
Chapter 21. On the way to school, Ben stops off at the sheriff's office, as requested. The sheriff compliments him on his football games, and Ben has the thought that the football season means more to people than Rudy's life. When he gets to school, Ben remains in the truck a bit longer as a wave of the fatigue rushes over him. This is happening more frequently. In school, he has a hard time concentrating in class, and he is still working on his project, without much success. In class, Mr. Lambeer once again argues with him about the paper, and a student encourages him to get Ben out of the class. Dallas defends Ben. Mr. Lambeer kicks him out anyway, sending him to the library. As he sits in the library, Ben does some thinking and realizes he needs to talk...
