Chapter Eleven Summary
Sookie goes to work the next day and her co-workers commiserate over the loss of her cat and are frightened for her. Arlene surprises Sookie by asking her to babysit for her children that night and Sookie agrees happily.
Rene drops the children off to Sookie's home and when Bill arrives they all have a great evening. As Rene and Arlene arrive to pick up the kids, a handsome vampire walks out of the woods and Sookie watches from a distance the amazed reactions of her friends. Bill signals Rene not to say anything to the other vampire and the couple leaves with Arlene's children.
