Chapters 11 and 12 Summary

After Poppy and Daisy visit Rachel in the hospital, they meet Rose at Slim's for dinner. Rose looks over the notes Daisy jotted down from Rachel's file and confirms that the doctors don't know what's wrong with Rachel. Poppy confronts Daisy about thinking Samantha is the psionic vampire and that's why she's making all of the cheerleaders wear the ankh bracelets. While they're eating, Daisy sees Ryan walking toward the morgue with another girl. When Daisy puts a quarter in the jukebox and chooses a song, the jukebox plays "Heartbreaker" instead and then Ryan walks into the diner with a redheaded girl.

When Ryan sees Daisy and her sisters, he introduces the redhead to them as Cassandra Morris. Cassandra is the girl that daisy found unconscious at the Black Opal. Cassandra tells them what she remembers of that night, which is...
