Chapters 5 and 6 Summary

When Daisy gets to school the next morning, she realizes Samantha called her the previous night because cheerleading tryouts are today. Daisy tries out and makes the squad. Samantha, her boyfriend Sean and Ryan plan to take Daisy to the Black Opal to celebrate, which is the club stamp the dead girl in the morgue had in her hand.

Daisy arrives home to get ready for her date. Before getting ready, Daisy asks her sister Rose what she knows about the ankh symbol, which is the pendant that Samantha came back to school wearing after the summer. Poppy help[s Daisy get ready for her date and Ryan arrives to pick her up five minutes early.
