Chapters 1 and 2 Summary

Daisy, the main character, stand in the hallway of her height will watching her ex-best friend Samantha Devereaux walked down the hall revealing her new look. Over the summer Samantha went from being a preppy to looking as if she is dead, with pale white skin, black clothes and dragging a coffin behind her. When Daisy goes home, she is responsible for cooking dinner for her two sisters and her mother. Daisy is the only member of her family that doesn't have psychic abilities. When Daisy's mom comes home she asks her oldest daughter, Rose, to help her on a case. Daisy's mom works as a psychic consultant for the police. Daisy called her best friend Ryan, who is the son of the police chief, to meet her at the diner and bring his father's keys with him.
