Chapters 11-15 Summary
In chapter 11, Carl Griffin and his partner Vince Giometti meet with John Strout, the medical examiner. After a review of the case, Strout rules the death of Eddie Cochran suicide/equivocal. The case will remain open and if any more evidence turns up Griffin and Giometti will look into it. Elsewhere, Diz meets with Glitsky who tells Hardy that he isn't really happy with the inconsistencies in the case either. Griffin has left the case file with Glitsky, more or less leaving the issue with him. Glitsky invites Hardy to continue checking things out, hoping he will find out the truth.
In chapter 12, Arturo Cruz heads home, in a better mood. After a fight with Jeffrey the night before, the two had made up. Cruz knows that he needs to straighten out the lies he had told to Hardy about not...
