Summary
In pages 131 - 190 of Part III, "Ithaca," Alexandra describes Ithaca upon entering town. They arrive at the sublet. Something about "the strangeness of the space is exhilarating" (135). While J explores the town, Alexandra does freelance for her new job, selecting tech articles to post on the app.
On the phone, Tim offers more work with the old company. Alexandra is happy to be rid of the place. At night, she cannot sleep, hot and trying to convince herself moving was the right choice.
During the day, Alexandra works in bed while J continues exploring. One night during a walk with J, Alexandra realizes Ithaca is beautiful. Sometimes at night she records snatches of things from her life with J. She also reads more about the historical Asian American experience.
