Chapters 25-30 Summary

In chapter twenty-five, Ten takes Karou to her room, but Karou shuts her out once she is inside. Once alone, Karou thinks about her present situation and considers how likely she is to be safe. She realizes the chimaera will probably never accept her. She draws a picture of Razor attacking her, and wonders about Zuzana, hoping to see them sometime in the near future. She spots Ziri, a fellow Kirin like she once was, and she goes to see were this group of warriors is returning from.

In chapter twenty-six, Ziri spots Karou and ignores her, but only because the White Wolf instructed him to do so. However, he had a crush on her at a younger age, and still finds himself looking at her whenever possible.
