Amulet

Sorcha's mother gives Finbar an amulet she has worn around her neck the day she dies. Finbar gives this same amulet to Sorcha after being cursed to live as a swan. Sorcha returns it to Finbar with the curse is lifted, but later finds it by the lake after Finbar unexpectedly disappears.

Wooden Wedding Ring

Red gives Sorcha a wooden wedding ring he has carved by hand on their wedding day, suggesting that he planned to marry her long before he revealed his decision.

Wood Carving

When Simon disappears, he leaves a wooden carving where it will be found, with the suggestion that he has left it for Sorcha.
