Chapters 14-16 Summary

Chapter 14. As Sorcha lies in tears in Red's arms, he becomes aware of strange men attempting to pull her away. Red warns them away, but they tell Red they are her brothers. Sorcha turns and discovers that each of her six brothers is standing around her in tattered clothing. Sorcha goes to them and Red is taken into the house by Ben. Sorcha and her brothers are immediately surrounded by angry Britons, who cannot believe what they have seen with their own eyes. It is not until Father Dominic returns with lady Anne that they realize that not only was Sorcha falsely accused and placed on the pyre by Richard, but that she has performed a miracle by lifting the curse on her brothers.
