Summary
In Chapter 23, Ana has another dream about the happy times of her childhood. They intercept electrical impulses and realize it is the challenge from the secret base. Ana gathers the members of House Dolphin: Lee-Ann Best, Virgil Esparza, Halimah Nasser, and Jack Wu. They begin to work identifying the code, which includes sounds from a blue whale and some clicks. They spend hours working on the code until Ana realizes the middle section – the actual message – is in Bundeli, which was Nemo's native language. The message is from Lincoln Base and demands they identify themselves. They have five hours to respond correctly.
In Chapter 24, they spend all the allotted time working out their response. Though Ana feels strange about it, they agree to say Ana is onboard. Ana tells all the other students about their response and everything she can imagine going wrong...
