Chapter 9, Dash

Dash’s friends, Dov and Yohnny, come by his place with the boot Lily left behind, but no notebook. Dash thinks the boot is a clue, so he begins retracing his steps to figure it out. Dash begins at Macy’s where he asks for the man who played Santa. Unfortunately, he is unable to find him. Dash returns home where he starts to write to Lily, but it just is not the same without the notebook. Dash thinks about his ex-girlfriend, Sofia, before it is time to get ready for the party. At the party, Dash and Sofia begin to talk. When they sneak away to have a moment alone, they accidentally interrupt Dov and Yohnny’s make out session. Sofia tells Dash she fell in love in Spain, but it did not work out. Dash then tells her about...
