Summary

Part Two is titled King of Shadows. In Chapter 16, Qibli and Winter know they have to try to rescue Turtle but they do not know the location of the Night Kingdom. Thorn offers to send soldiers to help, but Qibli believes they need to be stealthy. They use the Obsidian Mirror to check in on Moon who is talking with Kinkajou. They believe Turtle is alive, but he is not talking. He is alone in the dungeon. They hear Darkstalker talking with various dragons but without any hint about the location of this kingdom. Winter suggests they check on Tsunami. They discover she is being held hostage somewhere.

In Chapter 17, Qibli, Winter, and Thorn discuss Tsunami's situation and have no idea where she is being held or why. Qibli and Winter agree to return to Jade Mountain. Qibli is struggling with the idea...
