Chapters 12-13 Summary

Dexter is unhappy that there has been an arrest in the Tamiami Trail case until he gets a closer look at the accused. The security guard is a run of the mill wife beater, who has been arrested a few times for robbery and domestic abuse. Dexter knows this man is not capable of the mastery of the Tamiami Trail killings. Dexter warns Deborah that LaGuerta has made a mistake and that the real killer is still out there. The killer will kill again, and next time, it will be on a larger scale simply to show the cops what huge idiots they have proven themselves to be.
