Chapter 10 Summary

Suze thinks about all of the times she has gotten attacked by and in fights with a ghost, but has never died. It's right before dawn when Suze wakes up in the hole with a concussion, drags herself out of the hole and walks into the house. Dopey tries to wake Suze for work but can't so she wakes up on her own at 8. Father Dominic calls, says he's back in town and says he knows she didn't tell her family but that she must. Jack calls on the other line asking why she isn't at work and then the ghost of Sr. Clive Clemmings appears on her bed.

As they talk, Dr. Clemmings and Suze realize that Maria de Silva killed him by causing him to have a heart attack from seeing her as a ghost. Suze says she wants to keep...
