Chapters 26-30 Summary
In Chapter Twenty-Six, Myron meets with Stan Gibbs again. Gibbs assumes that the FBI has contacted him, as he knows they are following him. Myron asks Gibbs why the Lexes have warned him away from him. Gibbs tells Myron that he was going to do a story on them but Grover had warned him off. Still investigating, Gibbs had discovered that Dennis had existed. Myron wonders if Susan had sent the book to the FBI. Stan wonders the same thing, and reminds Myron about Melina Garston. Myron asks Stan if he thinks Garston was killed by the Lexes as a warning. Gibbs thinks her death was a warning, but is not sure from whom, maybe it was the Sow the Seeds killer.
