Chapters 21-25 Summary
In Chapter Twenty-One, Myron tells Win of his encounters with Stan Gibbs, and the FBI. Win tells Myron he will try and discover what the FBI is up to. As to Stan Gibbs, neither man can understand why Gibbs would not reveal who the killer is, and prove that the killer had plagiarized the novel, which would prove his innocence. Esperanza arrives and has some breakfast. She tells Myron that she has found Dennis Lex's preschool and that his former teacher not only remembers him, but will meet with Myron this morning.
In Chapter Twenty-Two, Myron meets with Peggy Joyce, the preschool teacher of Dennis Lex. Ms. Joyce explains her views on children and asks Myron what he wants. Myron asks about Dennis, and Joyce tells him that she has been wondering about Dennis for thirty years. According to Ms. Joyce...
