Ch. 16 Truth, Ch. 17 The Seomar Summary
Cal's journal entry is about his father's disappearance. Cal doesn't know if his father is alive or dead. His mother hadn't told him anything. He was nine years old, when Hunters father and mother disappeared. Cal thinks it's convenient that Giomanach is gone; it means that Hunter doesn't have his father's power to help him.
Morgan must find out from Cal if everything that Sky told her is true. Morgan wonders why Selene is interested in her. Does she think that Morgan is potentially evil enough to join her? Morgan remembers the image of herself in the future, gnarled and evil. Morgan desperately hopes that what she saw when she scryed was not real.
