Ch. 2 Guilty, Ch. 3 Dread Summary

Giomanach's journal entry, dated November 1999, describes how his Aunt Shelagh, his Uncle Beck and his cousin Athar held a part to celebrate after he returned home from the trial. Giomanach's uncle tells him he must let go of the past, but Giomanach cannot. He knows that his brother Linden called the dark spectre to avenge his family, but Giomanach gave him the idea. The spectre killed Linden. Giomanach's little sister Alwyn tells him that it was not Giomanach's idea at all. Linden told her that he liked messing around with dark magic, that it made him feel powerful. Little Alwyn had tried to tell them that Linden was practicing dark magic, but no one had believed her.

Meanwhile, Morgan gets up from a sleepless night sure that she killed Hunter. She tries to act normal around her...
