Self Acceptance
The two main characters, Savannah and Gregori, are constantly fighting with themselves. It isn't until they are able to accept who they are that they begin to fully understand the bond that they have. Gregori wrestles with the thought that Savannah isn't really destined to be his lifemate but that he influenced the situation surrounding her birth to the point that she feels drawn to him regardless. The reader will find that Gregori repeatedly refers to himself as a monster and knows that she can't fully love him. He will try to block her from him mind when he goes to kill people because he is worried that this will push her further away from him. Gregori knows that Savannah is scared and unsure of being bonded to someone like Gregori but he also knows that he can't survive any longer without a lifemate and is desperate...
