Point of View

Dark Life is told in the first person from Ty's point of view. Ty is the main character and it is his story that is being told. By telling the story in first person, the author gives the reader a deep insight into all of Ty's thoughts and feelings. This is important because he is a very secretive person who does not like to share his worries with others.
