Chapters 13-15 Summary

Gemma and Ty go to the Trade Station. Gemma manages to pickpocket a miner to get an ID card for the saloon. Ty insists that she try to dress like a boy, and gives her clothes from lost and found. He then goes to the infirmary to get a bandage to wrap round her chest and flatten her breasts. In Doc's office he sees the same article Gemma had been talking about, concerning Dark Gifts and the boy Akai. Doc comes out and tells Ty that he is analyzing the blood found on the abandoned sub. It is definitely human, and there is a lot of it. It looks as though the Seablite Gang did kill a prospector. Doc also tells Ty that he has received a missing child post from the government.
