Chapters 7-9 Summary

Hewitt, Ty's twelve-year-old neighbor, arrives and tells them that the Seablite Gang have attacked his homestead. They injured his father and his mother is helping him right now. The power was switched off to their house and it will deflate soon. Ty tells Zoe to call Doc and get him to come to their homestead. He decides to go over to Hewitt's homestead alone to help Hewitt's mother, Shurl. He knows his own father will not get back in time to help. Gemma insists on coming with him.

As they approach Hewitt's house, Gemma spots the Specter, the Seablite Gang's sub, above them. Ty quickly cuts their lights and the outlaws' sub passes over without seeing them. They continue and soon arrive at the house. They help Shurl to get the animals into the sub before the house deflates. Shurl's husband...
