Chapters 23-24 Summary

When the turbolift car halts in the general alarm, Mara subdues the Imperial passenger, and flees carefully with Luke and Karrde down the electrified track. The computer can be down only because Thrawn is on to them. Rather than head to the obvious hanger bay, they make for the vehicle deep storage area. Stormtroopers slain by lightsaber offer clear evidence to Thrawn that Luke has escaped C'baoth as the escape route is steadily traced.
