Chapters 7-14 Summary

In Chapter 7, Damen attempts to ration Haven's access to the elixir, but she becomes angry and announces that she will get all she needs from Roman. Haven then accuses Ever of being jealous.

In Chapter 8, Ever and Damen are concerned about Haven's attitude, but do not know what to do about it.

In Chapter 9, Ever and Damen go to Summerland where they visit a reproduction of the Chateau de Versailles. Damen once was friends with Marie Antoinette so he shows Ever the chambers where he slept when visiting her and tells her about their friendship.

In Chapter 10, Ever has fallen asleep and Damen wakes her. It is the most restful sleep Ever has had since her bond with Roman. Ever tells Damen about what happened with her and Jude. When they return to the earth plane, Ever intends to go to...
