Summary
In Book 5, Chapter 4, Athid saw Haris and Daphne outside their rooms in the inn. Then he told them to go into Haris’ room, where he met Amir. He asked Amir why he was not the one taking his wife, Daphne to cross the border, and Amir said eventually confessed that he regretted his involvement in the revolution and that he did not want to go back and see his mistake. Then Daphne gave Athid the gift of baklava. Jamil came into the room, and Daphne said he was too young to fight, but Athid said he was not too young.
