Summary
The night after Nowruz, the Kellners resume their Star Trek ritual. Though Darius asks Stephen to wait until he finishes making his tea before starting the episode, Stephen ignores him because he fears Laleh will lose interest otherwise. Instead of watching the rest of the episode with his father and sister, Darius takes his tea out to the garden and wonders whether anyone would care if he were dead. Later, Stephen confronts Darius about how he stormed off to sulk alone rather than spend time with his family. When Darius admits that he wishes Star Trek had remained their father-son thing, Stephen explains that he enjoys watching the show with Laleh. Feeling betrayed and insignificant, Darius goes to bed without fulfilling his nightly tradition of telling Stephen he loves him.
The next morning, the Kellners and Bahramis drive to visit the Towers of Silence...
