Summary

When Darius returns home from his humiliating shower experience with Sohrab, Ali-Reza, and Hossein, he hopes to hide in his room, but Babou intercepts him before he can. To avoid further embarrassment, Darius deflects every question Babou throws his way until he can slip away for a shower. Afterwards, Mamou, Stephen, and Laleh all interrupt Darius while he tries to take a nap. Stephen says he is proud of Darius for making new friends before Darius has a chance to explain what actually happened at soccer.

The next morning, Darius gives Mamou the tea he brought her from Rose City Teas, and she gives him some qottab, his favorite sweet. Later, Sohrab arrives to return Darius’ Vans and apologizes for teasing him about his uncircumcised penis. Darius cannot help but forgive him and the pair decides to be friends once more.
