Chapter 11 Summary

Blair is in hysterics, attacking the floor repeatedly with the wooden stake. Larkin tries to lift her from the floor and she bloodies his lip. Cian steps in and slaps her, which infuriates Larkin. Hoyt attempts to restrain Larkin, who uses his head to butt Hoyt's jaw. Moira is the one who ends the wild madness. She gets Blair to tell them what happened, all the while assuring Blair that only the Circle of Six are in the house. Blair says Lora was in Boston and had killed Jeremy. She begs Cian to have his friends check on Jeremy. Immediately, Blair contacts her aunt to establish precautions; her aunt will understand. She knows it will be too difficult for the vampires to hurt those who are protected.
