'Dalva', pg. 3-35. Summary
'Dalva' is the story of a young woman's journey through her past in order to accept her future. Dalva must journey through the pain of her father's death, the loss of her son, and the loss of her lover in order to find peace to move forward. Her journey is one of courage, history, and family ties.
The story begins in Santa Monica California in 1986 where Dalva writes a journal to her son whom she gave for adoption when she was a young woman. Her father's brother, Paul, wandered the world for many years and her name, Dalva, is the name of a song he played for her mother, Naomi, and her father, John Wesley.
