Summary
“Northeast Regional” follows a wealthy business executive named Richard. His teenage son, Rowan, currently attends an expensive boarding school. Richard is divorced from Pam, Rowan’s mother. Rowan is currently dating Ana, a real estate agent. Ana is married, and their relationship is secret from Ana’s husband. Richard has habitually had relationships with married women. One evening, while Richard and Ana are in Richard’s home, Richard receives a phone call from Pam. Pam says that Rowan’s school called and requested that one of them come to the school the next. The school gave very few details, but hinted that Rowan was in trouble. Richard reluctantly agrees to go to the school the next day. The next day, Richard travels to the school by train and by cab, deeply annoyed at the long and inconvenient trip.
