Callie's therapist's office
When Callie is in her therapist’s office is when the audience is given the most information about Callie’s life before she arrived at Sea Pines. It serves as the connection between the reader and the girl that Callie was before she came to the facility. The office is the place where Callie begins to open up about her issues and make helpful changes to improve her life.
Dining room
The dining room is where Callie learns about Becca’s deception. During the time she chooses to not speak she is able to observe those around her in a way that others are not, and because of this she is able to see Becca throwing away food when she is supposed to be eating.
