Chapter 13 and Reprise Summary

Chapter 13. Killashandra sleeps for three days, and then wakes to the annoying concern of the medical officer. Killashandra manages to ignore him and get some food from Pendel. Tic comes and thanks Killashandra for her help in improving communications on their planet because she was able to speak to her mother for the first time in a long time. The captain comes and tries to force Killashandra to undergo a medical exam, but she pulls out her FSP authority and tells him he has no right to make her do anything. Killashandra then tells him that she plans to leave his ship on the first opportunity. Pendel then helps Killashandra find passage back to Ballybran on a Shelkite ship.

Reprise. Killashandra arrives at the Shankill Moon Base and tries to get a room in the Guild section, but learns...
