Summary

Chapter 12

As Cassia and Indie make their way through the canyon, Cassia begins to worry that they are in the wrong canyon. As she and Indie try to decide what to do next, Cassia asks Indie her story. Indie tells Cassia that she lived in a Province near the ocean and that her mother spent months making a boat. On the night her mother tried to escape she was caught before she even lost sight of the shore. Her whole family was given red pills to help them forget, but they did not work for Indie.

Chapter 13
