Kaz Brekker

Kaz Brekker is the leader of the group and eventual boss of the entire Dregs' gang. While young, Kaz is highly respected and feared among the bosses of the Barrell, though often underestimated by those with more wealth like Van Eck. He is a master strategist who is rarely caught off guard by anything and is almost always in control of every situation. However, he struggles with crippling trauma after the death of his brother and cannot touch anyone with gloves. This even applies to his romantic interest, Inej, much to his frustration. He is also driven by a deep sense of justice that leans heavily into revenge, as he prefers to destroy those who wrong him and the crew rather than just kill them.
