Chapter Seven Summary and Analysis
In this chapter, Chan attempts to describe what a Christian who is actively pursuing Christ will look like. In order to first dispel the idea that Christians who are active in their belief in Christ are perfect, Chan points to Hebrews 11. This chapter is sometimes referred to as the hall of fame of the faithful. Instead of being perfect saints, the people listed in this chapter are liars, murderers and adulterers. Chan also points out the way that the people who truly believe in Christ often do things and live in such a way that makes no sense to nonbelievers.
