Chapter Five Summary and Analysis
In this chapter, Chan tells his reader that he plans to share examples out of the Bible that describe poor responses to God's gift of love. The first example that Chan shares is found in the third chapter of Revelations where God indicates that "lukewarm" Christians are not real Christians and will not be seen in heaven. Chan explains that the people whom John writes about in Revelations are not Christians. After studying the Gospels, Chan writes that he has come to the conclusion that Jesus wants either all or nothing from His believers.
