Chapter Two Summary and Analysis
In Chapter 2, Chan challenges his readers to consider the fleeting nature of life. He notes that if a person's body ceases to function properly or if there is an accident, such as a car wreck, the human's life can be over instantly. Chan shares an experience where he suffered with heart palpitations but did not want to go to the doctor because of his stubborn nature and because he knew it was stress that was causing his problems. His symptoms grew worse until he gave his worries to God. When he finally did give all his worries and stresses to God, his symptoms disappeared.
