In the section "I Tried to Be Cool," Kristina tries to get away from the three boys. When they notice she has been taking drugs, however, they move in to rape her. In "Hands," the boys tear Kristina's clothes as she screams. Adam interrupts the boys' advances and saves Kristina in the section titled, "And Then I Heard."
