Summary

Chapter 14 is from Rhysand's perspective. He knows it will take years for the rebuilding of Velaris to finish. Rhysand and Mor look over some of the larger estates along the river Sidra, many destroyed now. He grew up attending events there and expected them to outlast him. Rhysand knows the visit to the Hewn City upset Mor. He knows how she feels about Eris and Keir. He is enraged on her behalf and does not understand why she has not taken her revenge. He turns his attention back to the ruined estates, saying some of the owners have moved to other properties and some do not plan to return. He confirms that Keir will be visiting Velaris in the spring. He offers to ensure Mor is away when Keir arrives. She feels it will look like cowardice but agrees to think about it...
