Fleming Pickering
Fleming Pickering is the Chairman of the Board of the Pacific and Far Eastern Shipping Corporation. He sold his ocean liners to the Navy since he sees aviation as the travel of the future. The company had been owned by Pickering's family and he had worked his way up, becoming the Chairman after his father's death. He goes to Washington to try to help out with the war effort but refuses to sell his remaining ships to the Navy. He finally accepts a job with Know and the rank of Captain. His first assignment is to prepare the way for the Raiders, American commandos, who plan to hit Japanese carriers. He will be spending a lot of time in Hawaii.
