Summary
After spending some time in the club, Eric leaves, accompanied by Torval. Eric notices a funeral procession and stands on the side of the curb to observe. He sees Kozmo Thomas, a music manager for various rappers. Thomas informs Eric that the funeral procession is for Brutha Fez, who happens to be Eric’s favorite rapper. Thomas says that Fez died of heart failure due to a congenital heart disease. Eric is sad to hear of Fez’s death, and he is quite awed by the size and spectacle of the funeral procession. Eric silently reflects upon Fez’s body of work. Eric feels sad that his death could never arouse such a large, fervent crowd of mourners. Eric weeps for Fez and eventually returns to his limousine. Before he enters the limousine, a man runs up to him and slams a cream...
