A message from Cosmic Central?— Wilson is corresponding with Timothy Leary in prison. By now, Wilson is involved in the Discordian Society, a sort of farce and so-called new religion. Leary writes that he is protected by the warden, meaning he is often in solitary confinement. Leary also sees parallel between his life and that of Aleister Crowley. Leary writes a book with four other people called Terra II, where he talks of a message from outer space called the Starseed Transmission. There he says that a comet is coming as a sign. A few months later the comet Kohoutek lights up the skies.
