Keri Blakinger
Keri Blakinger is the author of Corrections in Ink. Blakinger narrates this memoir with honesty and precision. She shows tremendous drive and energy in all she undertakes whether it is ice-skating, dealing drugs, or jogging laps in her jail cell. She is naturally bright and a gifted writer and journalist. After she devotes herself to sobriety in jail, she seeks to redeem all the time she spent high on heroin.
Blakinger has a somewhat strained relationship with her parents, both of whom are high-achieving as well but at a loss as far as how to curtail her drug-seeking behavior.
