Summary

Chapter 17 is told from Selena’s perspective. Will meets with Graham and Selena at the Murphy house. Will explains that it is good that there is little evidence to support something bad happened to Geneva. Graham tells Will he deleted the video of Graham and Geneva having sex. Graham explains that the affair meant nothing and apologizes to Selena. Will explains that Geneva had an affair with Erik Tucker and that “there was some blackmail there. A new car to keep quiet and quit her job” (158). Will and Selena talk about Geneva’s references and Selena confides that she knew Geneva from the park and did not follow up on the references she did not hear back from.
