Auburn Mason Reed

Auburn was 15 years old when she fell in love with Adam and 16 years old when she gave birth to her son AJ. She has made a lot of choices based on the fact that she is AJ's mother. She lived with Lydia in Portland, and Lydia insisted Auburn continue with school after high school. Auburn chose cosmetology because a one-year program would allow her to begin earning money right away, giving her the chance to be independent with AJ. She hates that she spends so little time with AJ since moving to Dallas, and she resents Lydia's control over that situation. Though Auburn often feels unable to stand up for herself for fear of making that situation worse, she is determined and strong. When she feels she has no options, she stands up to Trey and Lydia and forces the issue to her benefit.
