Summary
In Chapter 16, when Millie started sleeping with Agatha, her previous sexual experiences seemed “insipid and bland” (269).
After sex at Agatha’s one day, Millie noticed applications for Agatha’s class on her counter. She saw Kennedy's in the rejection pile. Millie felt bad, but she dismissed the matter.
Meanwhile, Millie worried about her conflict with Tyler. When Tyler asked for help lofting her bed one night, Millie had the chance to make things right. However, because she “wasn’t even on duty” and had plans with Agatha, she made Joanie help Tyler instead (273).
Millie “wouldn’t have predicted “slacking in her RA duties” or experimenting with prescription medications like Ryland and Colette (274). She continued spending time with them, but still kept Agatha a secret.
