Declan's Car

Declan's car is where Aidan and Pauline meet for the first time. Pauline and Declan are going out for the evening and Declan gives Aidan a ride home. The first time they are all in Declan's car together, Pauline is first friendly toward Aidan and then unexpectedly frigid. The second time, she is flirtatious, and he briefly flirts back with her. Declan's car is emblematic of the relationship that Aidan and Pauline will share, as they get close to one another without ever actually becoming romantically involved.

The Hotel

The hotel is where Aidan works.
